Our Client is  one of the top 5 IT services and consulting companies worldwide,is looking for a Strong Mainframe Batch testing for Full Time project in Omaha, NE OR Denver, CO, below is the detail requirement.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • 6+ years of strong Mainframe Batch testing
  • Experience with MVS
  • Involved in all the phases of SDLC in terms of Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Implementation in Mainframes Environment.
  • Extensively worked with Mainframe technologies COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 and CICS, on MVS, OS/390 and Z/OS systems.
  • Should have strong hands on experience in JCL
  • Good debugging skills
  • Good to have Platinum
  • Very good working knowledge on Utility programs SORT, MERGE and JCL PROC.
  • Extensively used the tools such as   QMF,   SPUFI, File Aid, TSO, and ISPF
  • Good exposure on relational databases DB2 and SQL
  • Strong written & verbal communications to be able to interact with customers
  • Experience worked at the Client location

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
