Our Client is  one of the top  IT services and consulting companies worldwide,is looking for a  Project Manager for  Full time project in Plano ,TX, below is the detail requirement.

 

 

Responsibilities

In the role of Project Manager, you will plan for and ensure quality and timeliness of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product. You will participate in requirements elicitation, analysis of architecture, create and review design and contribute to activities related to estimation, staffing analysis &solutioning and risk planning. You will act as a mentor and support the project team in developing optimized high quality deliverables. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued

 

  • Experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams. PMP and Infosys Global Agile / CSM / any other Scrum Master certification preferred
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing software or infra development projects using Agile methodologies
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. CSM, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel
  • Balanced business/technical background:
  • Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
  • Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Experience in areas of operations engineering (i.e work simplification, work measurement techniques/skills)
  • Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
  • Agile Project Management tools such as JIRA or equivalent
  • Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum of 7+ years of Project management  experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
